Hardin Co. 4-H Council is sponsoring a Garden Stepping Stone Sale |
4-H is:
- Learning To Learn - learning through experience leading
- Self And Others - working as a team
- Relating To Others - accepting diversity
- Communicating With Others - creative expression
- Planning And Organizing - setting short and long-term goals
4-H'ers "Learn by Doing" in the following ways:
- 4-H Projects – hands-on learning in over 200 projects
- Community Involvement - volunteer time to help community needs
- Life Skill Projects - develop self-esteem and lifetime interest
- State & National 4-H Trips – older youth connecting with the world
- State 4-H Workshops - develop skills to plan and lead groups
- School Enrichment Programs - enhances school curriculum and lead by classroom teachers
- Cloverbuds -allows 5 to 8 year old children to become involved in 4-H on a non-competitive basis
Hardin County 4-H Program:
- Involves 1150 Hardin County 4-H youth
- 4-H work is supported by 180 adult & 75 youth volunteers.
- Offers over 200 different 4-H projects.
- Our 4-H clubs are found throughout the county.
